What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific guidelines regarding advertising and promotional materials. Hydrodog requires that all advertising and promotion, whether conducted by the franchisee or a cooperative, must be in approved media and formats, maintaining a dignified manner that aligns with Hydrodog's standards.
Franchisees or cooperatives are required to submit written samples of all proposed advertising and promotional plans and materials to Hydrodog for approval at least 30 days before their intended use. However, there is an exception: if the plans and materials were either prepared by Hydrodog or have already been approved by Hydrodog within the previous 12 months, franchisees do not need to resubmit them for approval.
This approval process ensures that all advertising aligns with Hydrodog's brand standards and marketing strategies. The 30-day submission window allows Hydrodog ample time to review materials. The exception for previously approved materials streamlines the process for franchisees, allowing them to reuse compliant advertising without additional delays. This helps maintain brand consistency while providing franchisees with flexibility in their local advertising efforts.
