System Standards
To protect our reputation and goodwill and to maintain high standards of operation under the System, you must operate the HydroDog Business in strict conformance with our System standards, including the methods, standards, and specifications we prescribe from time to time in the Manual or otherwise in writing. The System standards may relate to any aspect of the appearance, function, cleanliness, and operation of the HydroDog Business.
Suppliers
You must purchase the products, supplies, equipment, and services that you use or sell in the HydroDog Business in accordance with our specifications and quality standards and, if applicable, only from suppliers we have designated or approved (which may include us or our affiliates). You will at all times maintain a complete inventory of approved items and supplies necessary for operating your HydroDog Business and providing services to customers.
What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must operate their HydroDog Business in strict accordance with the System Standards to protect Hydrodog's reputation and goodwill. These standards include the methods, standards, and specifications prescribed in the Manual or in writing, relating to the appearance, function, cleanliness, and operation of the HydroDog Business. Franchisees must also purchase products, supplies, equipment, and services according to Hydrodog's specifications and quality standards, potentially only from designated or approved suppliers.
Hydrodog's System includes distinctive designs, layouts, color schemes and signs, equipment, inventory, marketing methods, service requirements, standards and specifications, products, inventory, and suppliers; rules; training and assistance; and other methods and procedures relating to the establishment and operation of a HydroDog Business. Hydrodog uses and licenses certain trademarks, service marks and commercial symbols, including the "HydroDog" mark, logos and designs. Franchisees must provide only the products and services designated or approved by Hydrodog, in accordance with the Hydrodog System, and using Hydrodog's Marks and Copyrights.
The HydroDog Vehicle must be acquired from Hydrodog or an Approved Supplier and must be the make, model and year Hydrodog specifies. It must be outfitted and painted in the colors, specifications and manner Hydrodog specifies. Franchisees must offer for sale all products, and perform all services, that Hydrodog requires from time to time for HydroDog Businesses and are not permitted to use any unauthorized inventory or order from unauthorized suppliers or vendors. Franchisees may not offer for sale any products or perform any services that Hydrodog has not previously authorized.
In essence, adherence to Hydrodog's System Standards is crucial for maintaining uniformity and quality across all HydroDog Businesses, which directly impacts the brand's reputation and the value of its trademarks. Franchisees are obligated to follow these standards in all aspects of their business operations, from the products and services they offer to the appearance of their mobile units, ensuring consistency and protecting the integrity of the HydroDog brand.
