Is a Hydrodog franchisee required to utilize any ordering system designated by Approved Suppliers?

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use any ordering system that Hydrodog's Approved Suppliers designate, including Hydrodog itself or its affiliates. Approved Suppliers are manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors of Operating Assets and Business Materials that Hydrodog has approved. Franchisees can only purchase materials and inventory from these Approved Suppliers. Purchasing from non-approved suppliers can lead to default or termination of the Franchise Agreement.

Hydrodog will provide a list of Approved Suppliers, which they may modify over time. If a franchisee wants to use a supplier that is not on the approved list, they must notify Hydrodog in writing and provide all necessary information for Hydrodog to determine if the supplier meets their standards. Hydrodog has the sole right to decide if a supplier or item is authorized and can disapprove any supplier or item at their discretion. Franchisees cannot sell unauthorized products or order from unauthorized vendors, as this can result in default or termination of the agreement.

Hydrodog also reserves the right to develop, modify, and terminate Preferred Vendor Programs, where Hydrodog businesses receive negotiated benefits from Approved Suppliers. Franchisees must follow all policies and procedures designated for participation in these programs, and Hydrodog can refuse or terminate a franchisee's participation without terminating the entire agreement. This system ensures that Hydrodog maintains control over the quality and consistency of products and services offered under its brand name.
