What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to comply with all System Standards for the approval and use of, or contracting with, third parties and suppliers. Hydrodog emphasizes that the reputation of its businesses depends on maintaining high-quality suppliers of services, materials, and inventory.

Hydrodog franchisees cannot use any suppliers that have not been previously approved by Hydrodog. Hydrodog will provide a list of approved manufacturers, suppliers, or distributors of Operating Assets and Business Materials, which Hydrodog may modify from time to time based on their business judgment.

This means that a prospective Hydrodog franchisee must adhere to Hydrodog's designated suppliers for all services, materials, and inventory. Failure to comply with these standards could lead to a default of the franchise agreement. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, allowing the franchisor to maintain quality control and consistency across all locations.
