You cannot operate your HydroDog Business outside the Territory or relocate without our prior written approval. If, in our business judgment, there is a change in character of your Territory sufficiently detrimental to its business potential to warrant your HydroDog Business's relocation to a new geographic area, we will permit you to relocate your HydroDog Business.
You must notify us of all inquiries for Products and Services received from any prospective customer outside of your Territory. We will forward these types of inquiries to the franchisee, if any, in whose Territory the prospective customer account is situated.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee cannot operate their Hydrodog business outside of their designated territory or relocate without prior written approval from Hydrodog. This means that if a franchisee wishes to move their mobile pet grooming business to a new location, they must first obtain permission from Hydrodog.
However, Hydrodog will permit a franchisee to relocate if, in their business judgment, there is a change in the character of the territory that is sufficiently detrimental to its business potential. In such cases, Hydrodog will allow the franchisee to relocate to a new geographic area.
If Hydrodog approves a relocation, the franchisee must reopen their Hydrodog business within the new or modified territory as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days after approval is given. This timeline may be extended if Hydrodog agrees in writing due to circumstances beyond the franchisee's reasonable control. This requirement ensures that the franchisee resumes operations promptly in the new location, minimizing any disruption to the business.
