What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the renewal fee is due upon submission of your renewal notice. The renewal fee is non-refundable and is equal to $20,000 per territory. This means that a Hydrodog franchisee must pay the $20,000 renewal fee at the time they notify Hydrodog of their intent to renew the franchise agreement.
It is important to note that the renewal fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including if Hydrodog decides not to renew the franchise. Therefore, franchisees should carefully consider their decision to renew and ensure they meet all other renewal requirements before submitting their renewal notice and payment.
In addition to the renewal fee, Hydrodog requires that at the time the renewal option is exercised and at the time such renewal commences, all monetary obligations to Hydrodog and any affiliate of theirs and any of your suppliers must be current and must have been current at all times during the preceding twelve (12) months. The franchisee must also execute a general release running in favor of Hydrodog, their affiliates and their respective officers, directors and shareholders releasing all claims against them.
