What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Hydrodog FDD, the franchisor does not make financial performance representations about a franchisee's future financial performance or the past financial performance of company-owned or franchised outlets. Hydrodog also does not authorize its employees or representatives to make such representations orally or in writing.
However, if a prospective franchisee is purchasing an existing Hydrodog outlet, the franchisor may provide the actual records of that outlet. The FDD also states that written substantiation of the data used in preparing financial performance information will be provided upon reasonable request.
It is important for a prospective franchisee to report any unauthorized financial performance representations or projections to Hydrodog's management, the Federal Trade Commission, and the appropriate state regulatory agency.
