What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to HydroDog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you are an individual owner/operator, you must be trained as a professional dog groomer through one of three options before attending initial training. One of these options is an apprenticeship program.

The apprenticeship program for HydroDog franchisees must last a minimum of one month and cannot exceed three months. This provides a range of time for franchisees to gain the necessary skills and knowledge in dog grooming before starting their initial training with HydroDog.

This requirement ensures that all individual owner/operators have a baseline level of grooming expertise, contributing to the quality of service provided by HydroDog franchises. The flexibility in duration allows for adjustments based on the individual's prior experience and learning pace. Franchisees should consider the time commitment required for this apprenticeship when planning their franchise launch.
