What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Hydrodog Franchise Disclosure Document, any arbitration proceeding will not be consolidated with any other proceeding involving any other person. An exception exists for disputes involving affiliates of the parties.

This means that if a Hydrodog franchisee has a dispute with the franchisor that goes to arbitration, the franchisee will not be able to combine their case with a similar case from another franchisee, unless that other franchisee is an affiliate of either party. This prevents franchisees from joining forces in a single arbitration proceeding, potentially increasing the cost and complexity for Hydrodog.

However, this restriction does not limit a franchisee's ability to pursue other legal remedies separately. The FDD states that the rights and remedies provided in the agreement are cumulative, and neither the franchisee nor Hydrodog is prohibited from exercising any other right or remedy provided under the agreement or permitted by law or equity.
