How does Hydrodog designate National Accounts?

Hydrodog Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You acknowledge that from time to time, we may enter into agreements with certain regional or national businesses with which we have agreed to provide services or products to customers at certain designated locations ("National Accounts").

We shall identify and designate any such National Accounts in our Manual, and you acknowledge and agree that from time to time during the Term of this Agreement, we may add or remove National Accounts in our sole business judgment.

You acknowledge and agree that we have the sole business judgment on who may provide services or products to any National Account location.

You acknowledge and agree that we may, in our sole business judgment, offer you the opportunity to accept and provide services or products under the terms of any such National Account agreement (including, without limitation, any central invoicing or fixed fee terms).

In the case of a National Account agreement under which the customer will pay a fixed amount for services or products at all locations listed in such agreement, we shall allocate reasonably such fixed amount among the HydroDog businesses providing such services or products.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, National Accounts are regional or national businesses with which Hydrodog has agreements to provide services or products to customers at specific locations. Hydrodog identifies and designates these National Accounts in its Manual. Hydrodog retains the sole business judgment on who may provide services or products to any National Account location and may add or remove National Accounts at any time.

Hydrodog may offer franchisees the opportunity to accept and provide services or products under the terms of a National Account agreement, which may include central invoicing or fixed fee terms. If a National Account agreement involves a fixed payment for services or products at all listed locations, Hydrodog will reasonably allocate this fixed amount among the Hydrodog businesses providing the services or products.

This means that as a Hydrodog franchisee, you may have the opportunity to service larger, established businesses through National Accounts. However, Hydrodog retains significant control over these accounts, including the ability to add or remove them and to determine which franchisees can service them. The allocation of fixed payments in fixed-fee agreements is also determined by Hydrodog, which could impact a franchisee's revenue from these accounts.
