What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Hydrodog Franchise Disclosure Document, if Hydrodog requires a franchisee to attend additional training, or if the franchisee requests additional training that Hydrodog agrees to provide, the franchisee is responsible for covering not only the Additional Training Fees, but also the Training Expenses. The Additional Training Fees will not exceed $500 per trainer per day of training. The Training Expenses include the costs of travel and living for each trainer.
This means that in addition to paying for the trainer's time, Hydrodog franchisees must also budget for the trainer's transportation, accommodation, and meals while they are providing the additional training. These costs can vary significantly depending on the location of the training, the distance the trainer must travel, and the duration of the training.
Prospective Hydrodog franchisees should consider these potential expenses when evaluating the overall cost of the franchise. It would be prudent to discuss with Hydrodog under what circumstances additional training might be required and to get an estimate of typical travel and living expenses for trainers to factor these costs into their financial projections.
