- 7.2 Initial Training Fee. We will provide our HydroDog Academy training as stated herein. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee is $5,000. This fee is nonrefundable and covers the HydroDog Academy training program. The training is designed to equip franchisees with the operational skills necessary to run a successful HydroDog franchise. If a franchisee chooses to bring additional trainees, they will incur an additional Initial Training Fee of $5,000 per person. Franchisees are responsible for all expenses and costs incurred for training or attending conferences, including wages, travel, and living expenses.
The HydroDog Academy combines online and on-site training, focusing on daily operations, grooming practices, and customer management. The on-site training may be conducted at the franchisee's location or at Hydrodog's designated corporate training facility. Successful completion of the HydroDog Academy is a condition for opening a HydroDog Business to the public.
Prospective franchisees should note that any training required beyond the initial training will be at their expense and will incur additional fees. Hydrodog also reserves the right to require franchisees and their trained owners to attend periodic refresher training courses at designated times and locations.
