What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to purchase additional territory rights, they must pay an additional territory fee. Each additional territory can have a population of up to 50,000 people. The additional territory fee is $10,000 per additional territory.
The fee is not prorated even if the population of the additional territory is less than 50,000. This means a franchisee will pay the full $10,000 regardless of whether the territory has the maximum 50,000 people or a smaller number.
The additional territory fee is uniform, meaning it's the same for all franchisees. It is due in a lump sum payment. Once the payment is made, the fee is considered fully earned by Hydrodog and is non-refundable.
