According to the Hydrodog Franchise Agreement, what is the definition of 'HydroDog Vehicles'?
Hydrodog Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
1.1 The HydroDog System. We, our affiliates and our predecessor have expended considerable time and effort developing retail businesses offering, on a mobile basis, pet grooming services (the "Products" and/or the "Services"), in a distinctive and innovative environment (each a "HydroDog Business"). HydroDog Businesses utilize our approved vehicles (the "HydroDog Vehicles") and operate in accordance with our standards and specifications (our "System Standards"). A key to the development, operation, franchising and success of the HydroDog Businesses is the use of our System.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hydrodog's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, HydroDog Vehicles are the approved vehicles used to operate the mobile pet grooming services. These vehicles are essential for running a HydroDog Business, as franchisees operate exclusively from and through them.
The Franchise Agreement stipulates that franchisees must purchase or lease their initial HydroDog Vehicle (and any subsequent vehicles) from Hydrodog, its designee, or an approved supplier before commencing training. Failing to do so may lead to training delays or even termination of the agreement. Franchisees must maintain a minimum of one HydroDog Vehicle for every 100,000 residents (or any fraction thereof) within their designated territory.
The HydroDog Vehicle embodies Hydrodog's trademarks and is exclusively for operating the HydroDog Business. Franchisees are required to add any additional vehicles within six months of starting operations or within six months of a population increase that necessitates another vehicle based on the specified ratio. Failure to meet these requirements constitutes a breach of the Franchise Agreement, potentially leading to termination or changes to the franchisee's territorial rights.
