What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hear Again America's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Brand Fund cannot be used solely for marketing franchises. However, the FDD states that the Hear Again America website, public relations activities, community involvement activities, and other activities supported by the Brand Fund may contain information about franchising opportunities.
This means that while the primary purpose of the Brand Fund is to support the Hear Again America brand and its franchisees through advertising, marketing, and promotional programs, there is an exception. The Brand Fund can indirectly support franchise marketing by including franchise information on the Hear Again America website or within public relations and community involvement activities.
For a prospective franchisee, this implies that the Brand Fund, if established, will focus on promoting the Hear Again America brand to customers rather than recruiting new franchisees. However, the visibility gained through the Brand Fund's activities may still attract potential franchisees who are interested in joining the Hear Again America system. Franchisees should be aware that they cannot rely on the Brand Fund for direct franchise marketing efforts.
