What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Section 10.9 of the franchise agreement addresses electronic funds transfers. Specifically, it states that franchisees must maintain arrangements with electronic fund transfer systems designated by Healthsource Chiropractic.
This requirement ensures that franchisees can accept various payment methods from customers, including credit cards, debit cards, and checks. Healthsource Chiropractic retains the authority to specify which electronic fund transfer systems franchisees must use, and may even require franchisees to obtain these services through Healthsource Chiropractic's affiliates or designated third parties.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they need to be prepared to integrate the payment systems mandated by Healthsource Chiropractic into their business operations. They should also factor in any associated costs for setting up and maintaining these systems, as well as potential transaction fees. It is important to clarify with Healthsource Chiropractic which specific systems are required, whether there are preferred vendors, and what the typical costs associated with these systems are.
