Under what conditions might Healthsource Chiropractic agree to allow a franchisee to employ a general manager?

According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally expected to actively participate in the day-to-day operations of their franchise. Specifically, franchisees must devote as much time as reasonably necessary for the efficient operation of the franchise. If the franchisee is a business entity rather than an individual, at least one principal owner, director, officer, or approved employee must fulfill this requirement.

However, Healthsource Chiropractic may approve the employment of a General Manager to operate the franchise under certain conditions, as provided in Paragraph 4 of the franchise agreement. If a General Manager is approved, that General Manager must fulfill the active, on-site management requirement. Any General Manager must also obtain all licenses and certifications required by law before assuming their responsibilities at the franchise.
