What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Healthsource Chiropractic Franchise Disclosure Document, upon submission of the deposit, Healthsource Chiropractic deems the deposit earned for several services. These services include processing the franchise application, reserving the protected territory for the prospective franchisee, providing initial training, and disclosing confidential information. Healthsource Chiropractic also provides services following the approval of the application.
Specifically, Healthsource Chiropractic agrees not to grant the protected territory to any third party until after a specified deadline date. They also agree to provide access to certain training, information, and materials related to operating a Healthsource Chiropractic clinic. Furthermore, Healthsource Chiropractic may disclose confidential and proprietary information, including details about services and products, sales and profit performance, sources of products, advertising and promotional programs, image and decor, methods, techniques, formats, specifications, procedures, information, systems, and knowledge related to the franchise.
This means that the deposit serves as consideration for Healthsource Chiropractic's efforts in evaluating the applicant, holding the territory, and providing initial onboarding. However, the acceptance of the deposit does not guarantee the grant of a franchise. The prospective franchisee only gains the right to operate a Healthsource Chiropractic clinic upon the execution of a Franchise Agreement by both parties. If a Franchise Agreement is not signed, the prospective franchisee will not have the right to operate a Healthsource Chiropractic franchise and Healthsource Chiropractic may grant the territory to another person or entity.
