What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Healthsource Chiropractic Franchise Disclosure Document, the deposit you submit with your application is considered earned by Healthsource Chiropractic upon submission of the acknowledgement. This deposit covers several services that Healthsource Chiropractic provides during the application process. These services include processing your application, reserving the protected territory for your potential franchise, providing initial training, and disclosing confidential information. Additionally, the deposit covers services performed after your application is approved.

It's important to note that Healthsource Chiropractic's acceptance of your deposit does not guarantee your right to operate a franchise. These rights are only granted through a fully executed Franchise Agreement. If you and Healthsource Chiropractic do not sign a Franchise Agreement, or if you fail to pay the remaining portion of the Initial Franchise Fee by the specified deadline, you will not be able to operate a Healthsource Chiropractic franchise in the protected territory. In this case, Healthsource Chiropractic reserves the right to grant the territory to another person or entity.

This arrangement is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where initial deposits often become non-refundable as the franchisor begins incurring costs to evaluate and onboard the prospective franchisee. However, prospective franchisees should carefully consider these terms and ensure they are comfortable with the services provided in exchange for the deposit, as well as the conditions under which the deposit is forfeited.
