What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for the wages and travel expenses of their personnel when attending training programs. Specifically, all employees hired after the franchise opens must attend the Initial Training, and the franchisee must cover all their travel, lodging, meal, transportation, and personal expenses if the Initial Training is not offered virtually and requires in-person attendance.

Healthsource Chiropractic also mandates attendance at an annual conference for each principal owner of the Franchised Business, the General Manager, and any chiropractor employed by a professional corporation servicing patients. The franchisee is solely responsible for the wages and travel costs associated with these attendees.

This means that as a Healthsource Chiropractic franchisee, you must budget not only for the direct costs of training new employees, such as enrollment fees (if any), but also for the indirect costs of their time and travel. This could represent a significant ongoing expense, especially if turnover is high or if the annual conference is held in a location that requires substantial travel. It is important to factor these costs into your financial projections and business plan.
