What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must submit final construction plans and specifications for approval before starting construction. Healthsource Chiropractic furnishes franchisees with a set of plans, specifications, and other materials reflecting their suggestions and requirements for layout, equipment, fixtures, decorations, and signs. Franchisees must use an architect designated or approved by Healthsource Chiropractic to modify these plans to comply with local ordinances, building codes, permit requirements, and lease requirements.

This process ensures that each Healthsource Chiropractic Clinic adheres to the brand's standards and complies with all applicable regulations. Franchisees must construct their clinics according to the approved plans and specifications. This requirement is part of Healthsource Chiropractic's pre-opening obligations, ensuring consistency and quality across all franchise locations.

This requirement is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as it allows the franchisor to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all locations meet certain operational and aesthetic standards. Franchisees should factor in the time required for plan modification and approval into their overall timeline for opening their Healthsource Chiropractic clinic. Failing to obtain approval or deviating from the approved plans could result in delays or non-compliance issues.
