What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Healthsource Chiropractic furnishes franchisees with a set of plans, specifications, and other materials that reflect their suggestions and requirements for the layout, equipment, fixtures, decorations, and signs for a HealthSource Chiropractic Clinic.

However, the franchisee is responsible for modifying these plans and specifications, using an architect designated or approved by Healthsource Chiropractic, to comply with all local ordinances, building codes, permit requirements, and lease requirements applicable to the premises. The franchisee must submit the final construction plans and specifications to Healthsource Chiropractic for approval before beginning construction and must construct the clinic in accordance with those approved plans and specifications.

This process ensures that the clinic's design aligns with the brand's standards while also adhering to local regulations. Franchisees should factor in the time and cost associated with modifying the plans and obtaining necessary approvals when planning their clinic setup. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, where franchisors provide initial design guidance but franchisees must adapt it to their specific location and local requirements.
