Will Healthsource Chiropractic International, LLC offer or sell Healthsource Chiropractic Clinics in my Protected Territory?

According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Healthsource Chiropractic International, LLC plans to offer and sell Healthsource Chiropractic Clinic and Regional Developer franchises internationally using their Marks. However, Healthsource Chiropractic International, LLC, will not use a different trademark or servicemark to offer or sell Clinic franchises and will not offer or sell Clinics in your Protected Territory. This suggests that while Healthsource Chiropractic International, LLC is involved in international franchising, they will respect the protected territory granted to franchisees.

Healthsource Chiropractic grants franchisees an exclusive territory known as a Protected Territory. The size of this territory is determined by factors such as the population of the market, area demographics, and estimated market demand for the franchised products and services. Typically, Protected Territories are based on a population of approximately 30,000 to 45,000 people. The franchisee must operate their clinic at an approved site physically located within their Protected Territory.

However, Healthsource Chiropractic retains certain rights. They and their affiliates reserve the right to operate or grant franchises for Healthsource Chiropractic Clinics physically located outside of a franchisee's Protected Territory. They can also offer other healthcare-related companies or franchises under different trademarks, both inside and outside the Protected Territory, without compensating the franchisee. Additionally, Healthsource Chiropractic reserves the right to sell or distribute products bearing their proprietary marks, including the Marks, both within and outside the Protected Territory. These stipulations mean that while your specific Healthsource Chiropractic franchise is protected, the company can still engage in other business activities, even if they are similar, outside of your territory.
