What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Healthsource Chiropractic can conduct inspections of a franchise location without providing advance notice. Healthsource Chiropractic, or its agents, can inspect the premises at any reasonable time and without advance notice. These inspections include evaluating training methods, techniques, and equipment; assessing staff performance; and reviewing the services provided to customers. The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that the high standards of quality, appearance, and service of the HealthSource Chiropractic system are maintained.

During these inspections, Healthsource Chiropractic or its agents, such as a "mystery shopper" service, may inspect the premises, observe operations, interview personnel and customers, and inspect and copy any relevant books, records, and documents. They may also record telephone calls placed to the clinic. Following the inspection, Healthsource Chiropractic may provide additional guidance and training based on the inspection results.

This practice is fairly common in franchising, allowing the franchisor to maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with the franchise agreement. For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared for unannounced visits and ensuring that all aspects of the business, from customer service to record-keeping, consistently meet Healthsource Chiropractic's standards. The potential for unannounced inspections underscores the importance of adhering to the franchisor's operational guidelines and maintaining a high level of quality and service at all times.
