What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee does not include the cost of optional programs. For a start-up clinic, the initial franchise fee is $60,000 for the first franchise purchased. This fee is a lump sum payable upon signing the Franchise Agreement.
Healthsource Chiropractic emphasizes that this initial franchise fee is fully earned upon payment and is non-refundable under any circumstances. This means that once the fee is paid, it will not be returned to the franchisee, regardless of any subsequent issues or termination of the agreement.
For franchisees who are granted the right to open multiple clinics under a Development Agreement, a separate Development Fee is required. This fee varies depending on the number of clinics the franchisee is authorized to open. For example, the Development Fee is $110,000 for two franchised clinics. For those opening three to five clinics, the fee is $45,000 per unit; for six to nine clinics, it is $40,000 per unit; and for ten or more clinics, it is $35,000 per unit. Similar to the Initial Franchise Fee, the Development Fee does not include the cost of optional programs.
