Upon my submission of this Acknowledgement, my entire Deposit will be deemed earned by HealthSource for the processing of my application, for reserving the Protected Territory, providing initial training and disclosure of confidential information, and for services performed following approval of my application.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Healthsource Chiropractic Franchise Disclosure Document, the entire deposit is deemed earned by Healthsource Chiropractic upon submission of the Franchise Deposit Acknowledgement. This is compensation for Healthsource Chiropractic's services, including processing the application, reserving the protected territory, providing initial training, and disclosing confidential information following the approval of the application.
This means that once a prospective franchisee submits the signed acknowledgement form along with the deposit, Healthsource Chiropractic immediately recognizes the deposit as earned income. Even if the franchisee does not proceed with signing the Franchise Agreement, Healthsource Chiropractic is not obligated to refund the deposit.
It is important for a potential Healthsource Chiropractic franchisee to understand that the deposit is non-refundable once the acknowledgement is submitted. If the Franchise Agreement is not signed by the specified deadline, the franchisee loses the right to operate a Healthsource Chiropractic franchise in the protected territory, and Healthsource Chiropractic is free to offer the territory to another party. Therefore, the franchisee should carefully consider their decision before submitting the deposit and acknowledgement, as the funds are immediately at risk.
