What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Healthsource Chiropractic Franchise Disclosure Document, there is no specific date format mentioned for signing the FDD receipt. However, the document does state that the franchisee must receive the FDD at least 14 calendar days before signing a binding agreement or making a payment to Healthsource Chiropractic. Additionally, the franchisee must receive a completed form of acknowledgement more than 7 business days before the date of execution.
While a specific date format isn't mandated, it is crucial for prospective Healthsource Chiropractic franchisees to carefully document the dates when they receive the FDD and related documents. This documentation serves as proof that the franchisor has met the required disclosure deadlines. Failing to adhere to these waiting periods could potentially invalidate the franchise agreement.
To ensure compliance, it would be prudent for a prospective franchisee to confirm with Healthsource Chiropractic the preferred date format for all documents. Maintaining clear records and seeking clarification on any ambiguities will help protect the franchisee's interests and ensure a smooth franchise process.
