What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Healthsource Chiropractic's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the annual conference is mandatory for franchisees and, if a third-party professional corporation services the Clinic's patients, each chiropractor of that corporation must also attend. While Healthsource Chiropractic does not charge a fee to attend the annual conference, they may collect fees imposed by third parties relating to the annual conference. These fees can include charges for lodging, food, and beverage.
This means that as a Healthsource Chiropractic franchisee, you will not pay a direct attendance fee to Healthsource Chiropractic for the annual conference. However, you should budget for expenses charged by third parties for things like hotel rooms and meals during the conference. These costs are in addition to your responsibility for the wages, travel, lodging, and living expenses for yourself and any of your personnel who attend the conference.
This policy is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisors often organize conferences but pass on the direct costs of the venue and related services to franchisees. It is important to factor in these potential third-party fees when assessing the overall cost of participating in the Healthsource Chiropractic franchise system.
