What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to use a supplier that is not already approved, they must submit a written request to Hck Hot Chicken for approval. Hck Hot Chicken can disapprove a proposed supplier if, in their opinion, approving the supplier would disrupt their national or regional distribution arrangements.

Additionally, Hck Hot Chicken may determine that certain non-proprietary products, such as beverages, are limited to a specific brand or brands that they set and may change over time. This implies that even if a supplier is initially approved, Hck Hot Chicken can later disapprove them if they no longer carry the designated brand.

These stipulations allow Hck Hot Chicken to maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations, as well as to leverage its buying power through established distribution channels. For a potential franchisee, this means they may have limited flexibility in choosing suppliers and must adhere to Hck Hot Chicken's approved vendors and brands, which could impact their costs and operational logistics.
