Can an Hck Hot Chicken Traditional Restaurant have a drive-thru and pickup window?
Hck_Hot_Chicken Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
A "Traditional Restaurant" is a business premise that exists primarily as a Restaurant, at a venue other than a Non-Traditional Venue; however, a Traditional Restaurant may also have other types of HCK approved cobranded businesses located in it. In these circumstances the Restaurant is the primary business. A Traditional Restaurant may also have a drive-thru and pickup window.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Traditional Restaurant can have a drive-thru and pickup window. The FDD defines a "Traditional Restaurant" as a business premise that exists primarily as a Restaurant, at a venue other than a Non-Traditional Venue.
This means that franchisees have the option to include a drive-thru and pickup window in their Traditional Restaurant design, potentially increasing convenience for customers and boosting sales. This flexibility allows franchisees to cater to different customer preferences and compete more effectively in their local market.
It's important to note that while Hck Hot Chicken permits drive-thrus and pickup windows for Traditional Restaurants, franchisees should confirm any specific requirements or restrictions related to these features during the site approval process. Franchisees should also consider local zoning regulations and permitting requirements when planning to include a drive-thru.
