Subject to Applicable Law or subsequent written agreement between Franchisor and Franchisee to the contrary, Franchisor and Franchisee agree that Franchised Restaurant shall be open and operational seven days per week, every day of the year (except Thanksgiving and Christmas on which Franchisee is authorized to close the Franchised Restaurant), and at least from 11 AM to 10 PM unless approved in writing.
Franchisee shall diligently and efficiently exercise its best efforts to achieve the maximum Gross Sales possible from its Location and shall remain open for longer hours if additional opening hours are reasonably required to maximize operations and sales.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Franchisor may authorize or direct Franchisee and other franchisees to operate during hours and on fewer or more days than are specified in this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchised restaurant must be open seven days a week, every day of the year, with the exception of Thanksgiving and Christmas, unless otherwise approved in writing. The standard operating hours are from 11 AM to 10 PM.
The Hck Hot Chicken franchisee is expected to maximize gross sales at their location and should remain open for longer hours if it is reasonably required to maximize operations and sales.
However, Hck Hot Chicken retains the right to authorize or direct franchisees to operate during hours and on fewer or more days than the standard hours specified in the franchise agreement. This gives Hck Hot Chicken flexibility to adjust operating hours based on market conditions or other factors.
