Hck_Hot_Chicken Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

The boundaries of your Territory may be described in terms of zip codes, streets, landmarks (both natural and man-made) or county lines, or otherwise delineated on a map. The sources we use to determine the population within your Territory will be publicly available population information (such as data published by the U.S. Census Bureau or other governmental agencies and commercial sources). You may not solicit customers and/or advertise outside your Territory or deliver any products or services to any destination outside your Territory without our prior written consent.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the sources used to determine the population within a franchisee's territory are publicly available. These sources include data published by the U.S. Census Bureau, other governmental agencies, and commercial sources.

For a prospective Hck Hot Chicken franchisee, this means that the franchisor relies on generally accessible demographic information to define the territory. The size of the territory can vary, typically ranging from a 1-to-3-mile radius around the restaurant, but this can be smaller in densely populated areas like major metropolitan downtowns. In Central Business Districts, the territory may range from a radius of approximately two blocks to 1 mile, depending on what Hck Hot Chicken deems appropriate.

It is important to note that the size of a franchisee's territory may differ from that of other franchisees, depending on the location and demographics surrounding their restaurant. Franchisees should be aware that they are not allowed to solicit customers or advertise outside their designated territory, nor can they deliver products or services outside the territory without prior written consent from Hck Hot Chicken. This restriction ensures that franchisees focus their efforts within their assigned area and do not encroach on other territories.
