What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Hck Hot Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, prospective franchisees must complete a questionnaire to ensure they understand the terms of the franchise agreement. This questionnaire aims to confirm that no unauthorized promises were made and that the franchisee is fully aware of the limitations on claims related to their franchise purchase and operation.

The franchisee cannot sign the questionnaire on the same day they receive the Franchise Disclosure Document. However, they must sign and date it on the same day they sign the Franchise Agreement and Area Development Agreement, if applicable. This timing ensures that the franchisee reviews and understands all aspects of the agreement before finalizing their commitment.

For prospective franchisees residing in or seeking to operate in a regulated state, completing the questionnaire is not required. This exception acknowledges that regulated states may have additional or alternative requirements for franchise disclosure and franchisee protection.
