Hck_Hot_Chicken Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Shortly before and ending shortly after your Restaurant opens to the public, we will provide up to 40 hours per week over a period of up to two weeks of on-site training and grand opening assistance. (Franchise Agreement, Section 6.2).
We do not provide general business or operations training to your employees or independent contractors; however, we may provide limited training on the HCK Hot Chicken System and brand standards to your key employees. You will be responsible for training your employees and independent contractors, including any training on the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant. You will be responsible for hiring, training, directing, scheduling, and supervising your employees and independent contractors in the day-to-day operations of the Restaurant. We do not provide you with any assistance in hiring employees or training them.
If you appoint a new manager, that person must attend and successfully complete our initial training program before assuming responsibility for the management of your HCK Hot Chicken Restaurant. You must pay our then-current fee for training replacement personnel (Item 6 has more information on this fee). If we conduct an inspection of your Restaurant and determine you are not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement, we may require that you attend remedial training that addresses your operational deficiencies. You may also request that we provide additional training (either at our corporate location or at your Restaurant) and you may be required to pay additional fees for this training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Hck Hot Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, Hck Hot Chicken may provide up to two weeks of on-site training and grand opening assistance shortly before and ending shortly after the restaurant opens to the public. This assistance will be for up to 40 hours per week during that two-week period.
However, Hck Hot Chicken does not provide general business or operations training to employees or independent contractors. The franchisee is responsible for training their own employees and independent contractors, including training on day-to-day operations. Hck Hot Chicken does not assist with hiring or training employees.
If a new manager is appointed, that person must attend and successfully complete the initial training program before assuming responsibility for managing the Hck Hot Chicken Restaurant. The franchisee must pay the then-current fee for training replacement personnel. Hck Hot Chicken may also require the franchisee to attend remedial training if an inspection determines that the restaurant is not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement. This remedial training would address the operational deficiencies. The franchisee may also request additional training, which may be conducted at Hck Hot Chicken's corporate location or at the franchisee's restaurant, but the franchisee may be required to pay additional fees for this training.
