What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the On-Site Training Fee is nonrefundable. Franchisees must pay Hck Hot Chicken an On-Site Training Fee of $5,000 for each restaurant they open. This fee is invoiced approximately 60 days before the anticipated grand opening date.
This means that once a Hck Hot Chicken franchisee pays the $5,000 On-Site Training Fee, they cannot get a refund, regardless of the circumstances. This is a standard practice in franchising, as training costs are typically incurred by the franchisor well in advance of a restaurant opening.
Prospective franchisees should factor this nonrefundable fee into their initial investment calculations and be certain of their ability to open the restaurant before paying the invoice. Franchisees should also inquire about what the On-Site Training Fee covers to fully understand the services they will receive for this payment.
