What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Hck Hot Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, the On-Site Training Fee is nonrefundable. Item 7 states that franchisees must pay Hck Hot Chicken an On-Site Training Fee of $5,000 for each restaurant they open. This fee is due upon invoice, which is sent approximately 60 days before the anticipated grand opening date.
This means that once a Hck Hot Chicken franchisee pays the $5,000 On-Site Training Fee, they cannot get a refund under any circumstances. This policy is standard across all franchisees. The fee is intended to cover the costs associated with providing on-site training and support to new franchisees as they prepare to launch their restaurant.
Prospective franchisees should factor this nonrefundable fee into their initial investment calculations and ensure they are fully committed to opening their Hck Hot Chicken restaurant before paying the invoice. This policy is in line with the general note in Item 7 that all fees paid to Hck Hot Chicken are uniform and nonrefundable once paid.
