What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, each franchisee will have one vote for each Hck Hot Chicken Restaurant they operate within the designated market, assuming a local or regional advertising cooperative is established. Currently, no such cooperatives exist.
If a cooperative is formed in the future, the contribution amount will be determined by the cooperative members, up to a maximum of 2% of Gross Sales. This means that franchisees will collectively decide how much to contribute to the advertising efforts, within the specified limit. The purpose of these cooperatives is to enhance local and regional advertising initiatives, allowing franchisees to have a direct say in how marketing funds are spent in their specific areas.
For a prospective franchisee, this voting structure offers a degree of control over local advertising strategies. However, it's important to note that the establishment of these cooperatives is not guaranteed and is subject to Hck Hot Chicken's discretion. Franchisees should inquire about the likelihood of these cooperatives forming in their target markets and how decisions are made within the cooperative structure to fully understand their potential influence on advertising efforts.
