What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Hck Hot Chicken does not provide general business or operations training to franchisee's employees or independent contractors; however, they may provide limited training on the Hck Hot Chicken System and brand standards to key employees. The franchisee is responsible for training their own employees and independent contractors, including training on the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Hck Hot Chicken does not provide assistance in hiring or training employees.
However, Hck Hot Chicken does provide up to 40 hours per week over a period of up to two weeks of on-site training and grand opening assistance shortly before and after the restaurant opens to the public. This on-site training is not provided to renewal franchisees or franchisees that purchase existing Hck Hot Chicken restaurants.
Prospective franchisees should inquire with Hck Hot Chicken about the specific content and format of the limited training they may provide to key employees, as well as the criteria for determining which employees qualify as "key employees." Understanding the scope of this training is crucial for budgeting and planning comprehensive staff training programs.
