What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Hck Hot Chicken will use its good faith efforts to notify a franchisee of its decision regarding a proposed supplier within 30 days. This 30-day period starts after Hck Hot Chicken receives the franchisee's request for approval and all other requested information and items needed to fully comply with the relevant section of the agreement.
If Hck Hot Chicken does not provide the franchisee with a written statement of approval or disapproval within this 30-day timeframe after receiving the notice and all required information, the supplier is automatically deemed disapproved. This implies that the franchisee cannot use the proposed supplier if Hck Hot Chicken fails to respond within the specified period.
This clause protects the Hck Hot Chicken system by ensuring that all suppliers meet the brand's standards. It also means that franchisees need to be thorough in their initial submission, providing all necessary information to Hck Hot Chicken to avoid delays. Franchisees should also factor in this 30-day approval period when planning their supply chain and operations.
