What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee will be charged a late fee if any payment due to Hck Hot Chicken or its affiliates is not made by the due date. The late fee is $100 per occurrence.
In addition to the $100 late fee, Hck Hot Chicken will also charge interest on the past due amount. This interest is calculated as the lesser of the daily equivalent of 12% per year simple interest or the highest rate allowed by law. The interest accrues from the original due date until the payment is received in full.
It is important to note that all fees paid to Hck Hot Chicken or its affiliates are non-refundable under any circumstances once paid. Franchisees are required to complete an EFT authorization form and a credit card authorization form, allowing Hck Hot Chicken to charge their credit card for any past due amounts if an EFT payment is unsuccessful. This highlights the importance of ensuring timely payments to avoid late fees, interest charges, and potential credit card charges for past due amounts.
