What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Hck Hot Chicken Franchise Disclosure Document, the specific amount of the initial franchise fee is detailed in Attachment A of the franchise agreement. Section 4.1 of the agreement states that franchisees must pay the initial franchise fee upon execution of the agreement, unless they are signing under an area development agreement, in which case the payment schedule is determined by that separate agreement. The initial franchise fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
This means that prospective Hck Hot Chicken franchisees should refer to Attachment A of their franchise agreement to find the exact dollar amount they will be required to pay upfront. This fee grants them the right to operate a Hck Hot Chicken franchise. It is crucial to note that this fee is non-refundable, regardless of any unforeseen circumstances that may arise.
Franchisees pursuing an area development agreement with Hck Hot Chicken will have a different payment schedule for the initial franchise fee, as stipulated in their development agreement. Therefore, it is important for these franchisees to carefully review the terms of their area development agreement to understand their specific payment obligations.
