Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If the placement and operation of the Non- Traditional Restaurant in or in connection with the Host Facility requires the consent of the owner, franchisor, and/or licensor of the Host Facility, Franchisee agrees to obtain such consent in writing (and provide a copy thereof to Franchisor), and Franchisee acknowledges and agrees that such consent is a condition precedent to the grant of Franchisee'sright to establish and operate the Non-Traditional Restaurant.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is establishing a Non-Traditional Restaurant within or adjacent to a host facility, they must obtain written consent from the owner, franchisor, or licensor of that host facility. This consent is a prerequisite for the franchisee to be granted the right to establish and operate the Non-Traditional Restaurant. The franchisee must also provide a copy of this written consent to Hck Hot Chicken.

This requirement ensures that Hck Hot Chicken and its franchisees have the necessary permissions to operate within the host facility, mitigating potential legal or operational issues that could arise from lacking such consent. It also protects the interests of the host facility by ensuring that the Hck Hot Chicken operation aligns with their standards and requirements.

For a prospective Hck Hot Chicken franchisee, this means that securing this consent is a critical first step before investing in a Non-Traditional Restaurant location. Failure to obtain this consent could prevent the franchisee from opening their restaurant, regardless of other preparations or investments made. The franchisee should factor in the time and effort required to obtain this consent when evaluating a potential location and negotiating terms with the host facility.
