What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee who wants to add menu items must submit a written variance request to Hck Hot Chicken. This request must seek approval for both the additional menu items themselves, which can include food, beverages, and merchandise, and the supplier of those items.

Upon receiving this written request, Hck Hot Chicken will evaluate the suggested menu items and the proposed supplier. The decision to approve or deny the request is at Hck Hot Chicken's sole discretion. This means that even if the franchisee meets all the requirements, Hck Hot Chicken is not obligated to approve the new items or supplier.

If Hck Hot Chicken approves the request in writing, the franchisee can then offer the additional menu items at their franchised restaurant. However, this approval may come with specific conditions or limitations imposed by Hck Hot Chicken. Franchisees need to carefully review these conditions to ensure they can comply. This process ensures that all menu items align with Hck Hot Chicken's brand standards and quality control measures.
