What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally required to honor rebates, giveaways, and other promotions issued by other Hck Hot Chicken franchisees. This requirement is tied to advertising programs established by the franchisor.

However, this obligation is conditional. A franchisee must comply with honoring other franchisees' promotions only if such compliance does not violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation. This provides a legal safeguard for franchisees in case a promotion from another location creates a conflict with local laws or regulations.

Furthermore, Hck Hot Chicken franchisees are restricted in their ability to create their own promotions independently. They cannot create or issue gift cards/certificates unless these are issued or sponsored by the franchisor and accepted at all Hck Hot Chicken restaurants. Additionally, franchisees cannot issue coupons or discounts without the franchisor's approval, ensuring that all promotional activities align with the brand's overall marketing strategy.
