What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, fees paid to Hck Hot Chicken or its affiliates are generally not refundable once paid. However, this policy does not extend to fees paid to third-party vendors or suppliers, which may be refundable depending on their individual policies.
Specifically, the initial franchise fee of $40,000 is non-refundable once paid upon execution of the Franchise Agreement. Similarly, the On-Site Training fee of $5,000, which is invoiced approximately 60 days before the anticipated grand opening, is also nonrefundable upon payment. For franchisees entering into an Area Development Agreement, the Development Fee is also non-refundable.
This non-refundable policy is a standard practice in franchising. Prospective Hck Hot Chicken franchisees should carefully consider this policy and conduct thorough due diligence before making any payments. It is crucial to understand the terms and conditions under which fees are paid and to assess the financial risks involved, as these fees will not be returned under normal circumstances.
