What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the equipment configuration for a Non-Traditional Restaurant may significantly differ from a Traditional Restaurant. The franchise agreement states that the signs, equipment configuration, menu, products, services, size, specifications, and appearance of a Non-Traditional Restaurant may vary considerably from a Traditional Restaurant. These differences are subject to alternative standards and specifications developed and made available by Hck Hot Chicken.
This means that franchisees opening a Non-Traditional Hck Hot Chicken location should expect potential variations in the required equipment compared to the standard Traditional Restaurant model. These variations could be due to space constraints, the specific needs of the venue (such as a stadium or food court), or other factors influencing the Non-Traditional Restaurant's design and operation. Hck Hot Chicken retains the discretion to modify these standards and specifications as needed.
For a prospective franchisee, this implies a need to carefully review the specific equipment requirements outlined by Hck Hot Chicken for the particular Non-Traditional location being considered. It is important to understand how these requirements differ from those of a Traditional Restaurant and to factor any additional or specialized equipment costs into the overall investment. Franchisees should also stay informed of any changes to these standards, as compliance with modifications is a condition of the franchise agreement.
