If you are opening more than one Restaurant, you will be required to have a "Director of Operations." The Director of Operations is responsible for running the operations of all of your Restaurants. The Director of Operations and Operating Principal may be the same person, depending on the role of the Operating Principal and depending on the number of Restaurants.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Director of Operations and Operating Principal can be the same person, with prior written consent from Hck Hot Chicken. If a franchisee is opening more than one Hck Hot Chicken restaurant, they are required to have a Director of Operations who is responsible for running the operations of all of the franchisee's restaurants.
The Operating Principal, on the other hand, is principally responsible for communicating with Hck Hot Chicken about business, operational, and other matters concerning the restaurant. The Operating Principal must have the authority and responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and must have at least ten percent equity in the franchise.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that if they plan to open multiple Hck Hot Chicken locations, they have the option to have the same person serve as both the Director of Operations and the Operating Principal, provided they obtain written consent from Hck Hot Chicken.
