Can the Director of Operations for Hck Hot Chicken engage in other business activities?

According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Director of Operations is generally required to dedicate their full time and effort to the operation of Hck Hot Chicken restaurants within the designated development area. Specifically, the Director of Operations must devote one hundred percent of their time and best efforts solely to the operation of all Restaurants owned or operated, directly or indirectly, by the Area Developer in the Development Area. They are restricted from engaging in any other business activities.

However, there is an exception. The Director of Operations may engage in other business activities if they obtain prior written consent from Hck Hot Chicken. Additionally, the Director of Operations may be the same individual as the Operating Principal with the franchisor's approval.
