Hck_Hot_Chicken Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

The boundaries of your Territory may be described in terms of zip codes, streets, landmarks (both natural and man-made) or county lines, or otherwise delineated on a map. The sources we use to determine the population within your Territory will be publicly available population information (such as data published by the U.S. Census Bureau or other governmental agencies and commercial sources). You may not solicit customers and/or advertise outside your Territory or deliver any products or services to any destination outside your Territory without our prior written consent.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Hck Hot Chicken's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the territory for a franchisee's restaurant will be identified on a Data Sheet in Attachment A of the Franchise Agreement. For a typical location, the territory is usually a 1-to-3-mile radius around the restaurant. However, if the restaurant is in a major metropolitan downtown area or a similar central business district, the territory may be smaller, ranging from a radius of approximately two blocks to 1 mile, as determined by Hck Hot Chicken. The size of a territory can vary compared to other franchisees, depending on the location and demographics around the restaurant. If a franchisee opens a Non-Traditional Restaurant, they may not receive a territory, and their rights will be limited to the physical site of the restaurant.

The boundaries of an Hck Hot Chicken territory can be described using various methods. These include zip codes, streets, landmarks (both natural and man-made), or county lines. The territory may also be delineated on a map. Hck Hot Chicken uses publicly available population information, such as data from the U.S. Census Bureau or other governmental agencies and commercial sources, to determine the population within a territory. Franchisees are not allowed to solicit customers or advertise outside their territory, nor can they deliver products or services to destinations outside their territory without prior written consent from Hck Hot Chicken.

It is important to note that Hck Hot Chicken territories are not exclusive. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, outlets owned by Hck Hot Chicken, other distribution channels, or competitive brands. Hck Hot Chicken retains various rights, including the right to operate or authorize others to operate Hck Hot Chicken Restaurants outside the franchisee's territory, at Non-Traditional Venues, or restaurants under different names that may sell similar goods and services, even within the franchisee's territory. Hck Hot Chicken also reserves the right to sell products through Alternative Distribution Channels, such as grocery stores or the Internet, without compensating the franchisee.
