According to the 2025 Hawaiian Bros Island Grill Franchise Disclosure Document, the Participation Agreement between the franchisee and Edward Don & Company will end under two specific conditions. First, the agreement terminates upon the termination or expiration of the Master Agreement between Edward Don & Company and Hawaiian Bros Inc., unless the Participation Agreement is terminated earlier under the terms of the Master Agreement. Second, the Participation Agreement ends if the franchisee ceases to be a franchisee within the Hawaiian Bros Island Grill system.

In practical terms, this means a Hawaiian Bros Island Grill franchisee's participation in the equipment and supply program managed by Edward Don & Company is directly tied to their status as an active franchisee and the overarching agreement between Hawaiian Bros Island Grill and Edward Don. If Hawaiian Bros Island Grill decides to switch suppliers or if the agreement with Edward Don expires and isn't renewed, the franchisee's participation agreement automatically terminates.

Additionally, if a franchisee's agreement with Hawaiian Bros Island Grill is terminated for any reason, their participation agreement with Edward Don also ends. This ensures that only active franchisees in good standing are part of the supply chain program. Franchisees should be aware that their continued access to approved suppliers and equipment is contingent upon both their franchise agreement with Hawaiian Bros Island Grill and the master agreement between Hawaiian Bros Island Grill and its designated suppliers.
